An employee of the US Embassy in Delhi was found positive on Friday in a coronavirus investigation report. The official spokesperson gave this information. A spokesman for the US Embassy in New Delhi said that they are working with health officials to ensure that the employee receives appropriate treatment.

He said, "We are aware of a coronavirus case report relating to an employee of the Embassy New Delhi. We are working with Indian health authorities to ensure that the employee receives appropriate treatment. Due to privacy concerns, we are not able to share additional information. "

In a statement, the embassy said that the US State Department has no other responsibility for the protection of employees working overseas and locally. So far, around 300 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Delhi.
