Coronavirus: India Reports 37,566 Cases with 907 Deaths

India has been witnessing a gradual decrease in daily coronavirus cases. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India reported 37,566 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative count of the cases to 3,03,16,897. With 907 deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 3,97,637.

The country also witnessed 56,994 recoveries in the last 24 hours taking the cumulative recoveries to 2,93,66,601. With this, the country's recovery rate has increased to 96.87%. On the other hand, India's mortality rate stands at 1.31%.

Decline in active cases continue:

There has been a steady decline in active cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the latest data of the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, the active cases in the country have been reduced by 20,335. Meanwhile, the number of active cases in the country stands at 5,52,659. The active cases rate in India stands at 1.82 %.

Over 40 crore samples tested so far:

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 17,68,008 samples were tested across the country on Monday. Meanwhile, a total of 40,81,39,287 samples have been tested so far till June 28.

Over 32 crores vaccine doses administered so far:

Meanwhile, mass vaccination against COVID-19 is underway in the country. According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, so far 32,90,29,510,  have been vaccinated in the country. Out of this, 52,76,457 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

Less than 100 cases reported in Delhi:

On Tuesday, 59 coronavirus cases reported in the state. Meanwhile, 72 people recovered and 2 died. So far, 14.33 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 14.07 lakh have cured, while 24,967 patients lost their lives. Currently, there are 1,553 patients who are undergoing treatment.

Rajasthan: less than 100 cases reported:

On Tuesday, 72 cases of coronavirus reported in the state. Of these, 210 people recovered. So far, 9.52 lakh people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state. Of these, 9.41 lakh people have been cured, while 8,916 patients have died. At present, 1,593 patients are undergoing treatment.
