Coronavirus has Replaced Politics Issues

According to the old political leaders, it's a serious break on the pace of politics was probably not even during the Emergency period, because then the leaders of the opposition parties were secretly carrying out their activities.  In an informal discussion, two old leaders of the socialist background said that they have never seen such a phase of political capacity as seen by the coronavirus.  The fear of this epidemic is such a biggest 21-day lockdown of human history, political parties are currently forgetting the issue which has become the main axis of their current politics.

The impact of the political lockdown due to the Corona crisis can be understood from the fact that the 100-day-long protest of Shaheen Bagh, which has been the symbol of the biggest protest against the CAA-NRC, was lifted after the announcement of the lockdown. Apart from this Left parties were no opposition from any party of the opposition camp to end the strike of Shaheen Bagh.

Several parties of the opposition, including the Congress, have been fighting a big political battle with the NDA government over the past three-four months on the Citizenship Amendment Act, NRC, and NPR.  But in the Corona crisis, these issues are now out of the discussion.  The government itself announced the suspension of the National Population Register, on Wednesday itself indefinitely.

Due to Corona, the election of some seats in Rajya Sabha was postponed, which has been hot for more than 15 days. However, before the havoc of Corona brought politics to a halt, the Kamal Nath government fell in Madhya Pradesh and BJP's Shivraj Singh Chauhan was sworn in twenty-four hours before the lockdown.
