127 New Cases of Coronavirus Reported in Karnataka, Total cases Reached to 1373

127 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Karnataka, bringing the total number of people infected with Corona virus to 1,373 in the state. The death toll has risen to 40 with three more deaths due to corona virus in the state, the health department gave this information on Tuesday.

In its mid-day status update, the department said that out of 127 new confirmed cases, there are 91 people who have come from the neighboring state Maharashtra. It said that the remaining patients included people from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, as well as those who have come in contact with the already infected person in the detained areas in Davanagere, Vijayapura, Bengaluru city.

Of the new cases, 62 cases have come from Mandya, while 19 in Davanagere, 12 in Shivamoga, 11 in Kalaburgi, six in Bengaluru city, four in Udupi and Uttara Kannada, three in Hassan, two in Chikkamagaluru, and Gadag, One case each has come up in Vijayapura, Yadgir and Chitradurga. So far, 40 deaths have occurred due to corona virus infection in the state, while 530 people have been cured of this disease and currently, 802 patients are being treated in the state.
