Omicron cases are increasing rapidly in the country. New infections are coming out every day. So far, people of 14 states of the country have been hit by the new variant of Coronavirus Omicron. Here, the central government has become serious because of the increasing cases of Omicron in the country. The central government has written a letter to the state government to take strict action. In its letter, the Center has said that to prevent the increasing infection due to new variants, the state can impose a night curfew if it wants.

In his letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has given instructions to increase testing and surveillance in the states. Along with this, there has been talk of imposing a night curfew, banning large gatherings, limiting the number of people at weddings and funerals. Apart from this, the Center has asked the states to set up war rooms, determine containment zones, review the cases to protect against Omicron.

There too a person has lost his life due to the new variant.
