Petrol Price Increased, Diesel Rate Down by 7 Paise, Know Today’s Price

The price of petrol increased on Saturday for the third consecutive day, but diesel rates have come down. Consumers have received relief on the third day. Oil marketing companies have increased petrol prices by eight paisa a liter in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, while the price of diesel has again reduced to seven paise per liter in Delhi and Kolkata. At the same time, diesel prices in Mumbai and Chennai have been cut by eight paise per liter.

According to Indian Oil website, prices of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai have gone up to Rs 72.63, Rs 74.71, Rs 78.25 and Rs 75.43 per liter, respectively. Diesel prices in the four metro cities have declined to Rs 67.15 and Rs 68.94 per liter respectively, Rs 70.34 and Rs 70.96 per liter respectively.

Every day, oil companies issue a new price of petrol, which starts at 6 a.m. Apart from the price of international crude oil; their prices are also dependent on the rupee move against the dollar.
