Petrol and Diesel became Expensive for the Second Consecutive Day

Rising prices of petrol and diesel have made the common man in bad condition. Today, for the 7th time in this month, their prices have increased. With this increase, diesel has also crossed Rs 100 per liter. Diesel is being sold at Rs 100.05 per liter in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. On the other hand, if we talk about petrol, then it is being sold here at Rs 107.22 a liter. Talking about Delhi, petrol has become costlier by 27 paise to 96.12 and diesel by 23 paise to Rs 86.98 per liter. So far this month, petrol has become costlier by Re 1 89 paise and diesel by Re 1 by 83 paise.

Petrol became costlier by Rs 4.11 and diesel by Rs 4.69 in May

Talking about the month of May, the price of fuel increased 16 times in this. Petrol has become costlier by Rs 4.11 and diesel by Rs 4.69 during this period. Talking about this year, on January 1, petrol was at 83.97 and diesel at 74.12, which is now at Rs 95.31 and Rs 86.22 per liter. That is, petrol has become costlier by Rs 11.06 and diesel by Rs 11.83 in less than 5 months.

Crude oil reached $ 72.59 per barrel

The US economy has almost opened up. Along with this, life is returning to normal in European countries as well. This is increasing the demand for petroleum products. This is the reason why crude oil prices are rising these days. Brent crude has reached $ 72.59 per barrel in the US market.

Crude oil may become more expensive now

Anuj Gupta, Vice President (Commodity & Currency), IIFL Securities says that there is a meeting next week on the sanctions imposed on Iran. In such a situation, if the sanctions on Iran are lifted, then crude oil can come to $ 60 to 65 per barrel. On the other hand, if the sanctions are not lifted from Iran, then in the coming days due to increase in the demand for crude oil, it can go up to $ 75 per barrel.

Petrol-diesel may become expensive by up to Rs 2 in the coming days

Anuj Gupta says that if crude oil reaches $ 75 and $ 75, then in the coming days petrol-diesel can become more expensive by Rs. In such a situation, the common man is expected to get relief only after the lifting of the sanctions on Iran.
