Commercial Cylinder Price Hike: Those hoping for relief from inflation are once again in shock. LPG cylinder prices have gone up by more than Rs 100 today (May 1). The increase is on commercial LPG cylinders.

At present, consumers of domestic LPG cylinders are getting relief. It may be recalled that last month, i.e. on April 1, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders had gone up by Rs 250.

Commercial Cylinder Price Hike: 19 kg LPG cylinder became expensive

According to IOC, if a 19 kg LPG cylinder is refilled in Delhi today, you will have to pay Rs 2355.50. As on April 30, it was priced at just Rs 2,253. In Kolkata, you will have to spend Rs 2,455 instead of Rs 2,351, while in Mumbai you will have to spend Rs 2,307 instead of Rs 2,205. In Chennai, the price of a commercial cylinder has gone up from Rs 2,406 to Rs 2,508 in Tamil Nadu.

Commercial Cylinder Price Hike

It may be recalled that on March 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder had gone up by Rs 105 and on March 22 it had gone down by Rs 9. At the same time, the price of a commercial cylinder has gone up by Rs 170 between October 2021 and February 1, 2022.

On October 1, the price of a commercial cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1,736. It became 2000 in November 2021 and 2101 in December 2021. Then in January, it became cheaper again and in February 2022 it became cheaper and came to Rs 1907. After this, on April 1, 2022, it reached Rs 2253.
