There is a lot of politics going on in Punjab to increase the authority of the Border Security Force (BSF) to 50 km from the border. Shiromani Akali Dal is demonstrating in Amritsar regarding this. This march is being taken out from the Attari border to Golden Gate. It is headed by Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal. Patriotic songs are resonating during the march. Apart from this, the national flag tricolor is also being waved along with the flag of Akali Dal.
Before the march, Sukhbir Badal attacked the Center and the Punjab government fiercely. Sukhbir said that the central government is engaged in demolishing the federal structure. The meaning of BSF is to protect the border. So their right to act within Punjab up to 50 km from the border is a direct violation of state forces.
He also attacked the Punjab government. So Sukhbir said that all this happened with the connivance of the Punjab government. However, This decision was taken after CM Charanjit Channi met the Union Home Minister. Which will not be tolerated in Punjab at all.
CM Charanjit Channi, who fell all-round on the issue of BSF, called an all-party meeting. After this, on November 8, it was announced to call the assembly session. So after which the Akali Dal changed its strategy regarding this issue. Sukhbir took out a fury march in Amritsar.
