Vijay Kumar Chauhan, resident of Ghanahatti (26) was a student of the fourth semester of the English department in the university. On Wednesday night he had roamed outside with his friends. Meanwhile, a fellow man was drunk in the group. The young man gave the helmet to his friend because the young man was drunk. He was going to Sanjauli on the bike to leave him but when he reached Navabhar, he lost control from the bike and collided with the parked roadside car. The collision was so strong that the car was also damaged. The young man died.

The youth sitting behind was badly injured. Police say that after the information, the police team reached the spot and took both to the IGMC. Here the doctor declared the young man died after the investigation. The second wounded is undergoing treatment in the hospital. On Thursday, police conducted a post-mortem and handed over the body to the family. DSP headquarters Pramod Shukla said that Ghanahatti's youth was going to Sanjauli for leaving his friend. In the meanwhile, the incident happened and the bike rider died. The police have registered the case and started investigations.
