Lockdown is in force in the country due to corona virus epidemic. The borders of states are sealed due to lockdown, neither buses are operating, nor are trains running. In such a situation, the laborers who went to other states in search of livelihood were stuck in different states. Yogi Adityanath government of the state is now recalling the laborers trapped in other states after calling their students back from Rajasthan's Kota.
It has been informed by tweeting from the official Twitter handle of the Chief Minister's Office that the workers of the state trapped in the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh will be brought back due to the lockdown and for this, the process will be started from April 29. Earlier, the Yogi government also called back the trapped workers in Haryana. The process of bringing migrant laborers back to the state from Haryana has been completed.
Along with this, it has also been told in the tweet that about 10 thousand students preparing for various competitive examinations are being transported to their home by staying in Prayagraj. Significantly, more than 300 buses have been arranged from Prayagraj to transport students preparing for competitive exams. Students desirous of going through these buses will have to bring their photo identity proof issued by their university, college, educational institute, coaching institute and admit card as proof of participation in any competitive examination conducted in the last two years.
It is said that in the first phase, students of nine districts of the state were sent to their home district. In the second phase, students from Ghazipur, Mau, Ballia, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Ambedkaranagar, Deoria, Maharajganj, Kushinagar and Siddharthnagar will be sent. For this, buses will be operated between Civil Lines Hanuman Temple and Hindu Hostel intersection from 4 to 12 pm on 28 April. Buses will be operational again from 9 am to 12 noon on the next day i.e. 29 April. Buses will go from Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Bahraich, Gonda, Basti, Santakbirnagar, Balrampur and Shravasti from the Public Service Commission intersection to Maharana Pratap intersection.
At the same time, buses for Banda, Mahoba and Hamirpur will be operated from Civil Lines Hanuman Mandir between the medical intersections. Buses from Civil Lines near the stone church will go to Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Orai, Jhansi and Lalitpur. Buses are to be operated from 2 pm on April 29 for the districts in which students are to be sent in the third phase. It is mandatory for all students to follow the rules of masks and social distancing.
