CM Yogi Directed to Complete the Recruitment Process
Earlier on Saturday, CM Yogi directed to complete the recruitment process of 31661 assistant teachers in the Basic Education Department in a week. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to providing adequate employment opportunities for youth, including jobs. The TTE examination was conducted by the Basic Education Department on 6 January 2019 for the recruitment of 69000 vacant posts of assistant teachers. On January 7, 2019, a minimum of 65 percent marks for the general class and minimum 60 percent marks for the backward classes and other reserved classes was passed by the issuing mandate to pass the TTE examination.
Reservation Quota in Government Jobs
The Yogi government has increased the reservation quota in government jobs in the state. Currently, there will be reservation for 60 percent of the total posts for government jobs in UP. The reservation quota has increased after giving a 10% reservation to economic economies. Now all the recruitment commissions will now ask for an application on the basis of this advertisement. The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has started preparations for this and amendments are being made by sending back the proposals which came in for recruitment from earlier.
Who will get the Benefit?
Let the state government decide to give a 10 percent reservation in government jobs to the economically weaker sections. Under this, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Act -2020 has been issued. Based on this, it has become mandatory to give a 10 percent reservation to the financially weak. Only those living in UP will get this benefit. Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Mukul Sinhal has sent instructions that it should be strictly implemented.
