Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has claimed to sell 1.5 million devices in the Diwali sale on the first day. These devices are being sold on Flipkart under Big Billion Days Sale and Amazon's Festive Sale. Along with this, devices are being available at a discount under the Diwali Sale on Xiaomi's website.

Xiaomi has said that on the first day of the sale, 10 devices have been sold at the rate of per second. These devices include smartphones, Mi TVs, Mi Band, Mi Power Banks, Mi Earphones and other accessories. The company has told about the best selling smartphone at the beginning of this festive season.

According to Xiaomi, five of the 10 smartphones sold in the festive sale belong to Xiaomi. Two of the three smart TVs sold in the Smart TV category belong to Xiaomi. Two of the 3 bestseller products in the wearable category have been from Xiaomi.

Similarly, the company has claimed that two of the three best sellers in the category of Power Bank are sold by Xiaomi. Regarding the Mi security camera, the company has said that two out of three security cameras in the security camera category are sold by Xiaomi. Talking about Mi Air Purifier, its sales have set new records.

Raghu Reddy, category head of Xiaomi online business has said, 'Dussehra and Diwali festive season has always been a big shopping season for customers. Every year we try to make it even better for the customers and give new offers. We have launched some TVs, Redmi 8A and    smartphones this year '
