"X-men: Dark Phoenix has come to be the most disappointing movie out of the X-Men franchise as it lacks the strong storyline and the luster of a Marvel movie.
It is the twelfth and the last movie of the franchise that was initiated in 2000. The story revolved around Jean Grey and her formidable powers. The X-men team goes to outer space for a mission under the lead of Raven aka Mystique, during which Jean absorbs a different Cosmic force that increases her powers exponentially to a dangerous level.
During her journey of finding her self, Jean learns about her father and feels betrayed as Charles has lied to her. Post this she turns into a dark phoenix and turns against the X-men.
But the plot isn't as strong as all other X-Men movies. The movie is easy to follow but is very weak and is tedious to keep up with.
Overall the movie couldn't impress the Marvel fans even after a star-studded cast.
