Youth Murdered For Bid to Prevent Man From Peeing Close to his House

A 26-year-old person was beaten to death with a stone in south-east Delhi's Govind Puri territory after he protested a man for peeing close to his home. The incident happened on the mediating night of Sunday-Monday. 

The deceased has been distinguished as Lilu, an inhabitant of Jhuggi, Nehru Camp. Police said that Lilu was an awful character of Govind Puri police headquarters and had 17 cases, including grabbing and theft, against him.

As per Chinmoy Biswal, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South-East district, police got two information from AIIMS Trauma Center at 12.49 am on Monday with respect to the affirmation of an individual.

"A police group was dispatched and in the wake of coming to AIIMS Trauma Center, Sanjay, the sibling of Lilu, expressed that at around 12:15 am on Monday, he was coming after taking bath near public toilet Nehru camp. He saw his sibling Lilu was being beaten by Ravi, Neel Kamal, their dad Man Singh and mother Meera," said the DCP. "During investigating, it was uncovered that that Man Singh (65) was peeing close to Lilu's shanty. In the wake of seeing the old man peeing outside his shanty, Lilu questioned his demonstration and slapped him following which, a fight emitted between them," said the DCP.

"Meanwhile, Singh's children Ravi and Neel Kamal came there in the protection of their dad. Ravi struck Lilu with a concrete piece which hit him on his chest and he got harmed," the DCP said.

"From that point, he was raced to AIIMS Trauma Center where he was pronounced brought dead. A case under the important segments of the Indian Penal Code has been enlisted at Govindpuri police headquarters and police is endeavoring to catch the denounced people," the DCP included.

"Lilu was recently associated with 17 which enlisted at Govind Puri and Okhla police headquarters. The primary instance of Arms Act was enlisted in 2009 and the last instance of robbery and grabbing was enrolled in 2017 against him," said a police official.
