The Telangana High Court on Wednesday directed the Intermediate Education Board (BIE) that after re-evaluating the students of Intermediate i.e. Class XII, they declared the results till May 27. The court also told the Intermediate Education Board that along with the result, the answer sheet (copy) should also be issued online.

The Board informed the court that the re-evaluation of answer papers will be completed by Wednesday night and the revised mark sheets will be released from Thursday. The court also issued a notice to Globrena Technologies, which is an IT company who has prepared the results and is accused of negligence in the process of making the results.

The court adjourned proceedings till June 6. A non-governmental organization working for child rights, 'Bala Hukmula Sangham' has filed a petition in the court in which he has demanded action against the officials responsible for the horrific disturbances in giving marks. The petitioner's lawyer Damodar Reddy told reporters that the Intermediate Education Board has agreed to keep students' answer sheets on their website.

The Telangana Board announced that the results of Intermediate declared on 18th April. A total of 9.74 lakh students were seated in Class 11 and 12 examinations in February-March, out of which 3.28 lakh students failed to get the marks. It was revealed in the inquiry that the Board had hired an IT company to investigate the answer sheets, which caused a lot of negligence in their work, due to which the several students commit suicide.

Due to poor performance and failure in the exam, at least 22 students committed suicide There were massive protests against it. Students and guardians attributed this to mistakes in processing and tabulation of disturbances and mark sheets in the evaluation of answer sheets. After this, the state government announced the re-verification of answer sheets of all 3.28 lakh students who did not pass the examination on April 24.
