Lucknow: A student who has been accused of exploitation of Swami Chinmayananda, a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, has been recovered from Rajasthan. Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police OP Singh has confirmed the girl's recovery.
She was accused of exploitation by a student of SS Law College of Swami Chinmayananda in Shahjahanpur. The girl disappeared after this. Today, the college management also informed about the girl's arrival in Rajasthan. DGP OP Singh said that the girl was in a hotel in Jaipur with her friend. The police recovered the girl along with the boy as soon as he got the location. The friend's name is Sanjay Singh. He is an LLB student at Sukhdev College, Shahjahanpur. Friend Sanjay was with the missing girl.
Police will reach Shahjahanpur with the girl by evening. Police claim that the girl, whose father accused Chinmayananda of kidnapping her, has been found. The state police have claimed that the girl was found in Rajasthan, with her friend Sanjay. The police also said that he was not actually kidnapped. The student was hiding in Jaipur with her friend Sanjay Singh. According to the UP police, both will be brought to Lucknow and questioned.
A student doing LLM from a college in Chinmayanand in Shahjahanpur had sought help from the government by viral videos on social media threatening to kill Chinmayananda and living in a state of despair. In a video uploaded on Facebook on August 24, the student had pointed to Chinmayananda, saying that her life is was in danger along with her family. She claimed that Chinmayanand threatened her to kill if she revealed anything about him.

Chinmayanand, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, was accused of kidnapping the girl from Shahjahanpur. The girl's father had complained to the police on Wednesday and took the name of Chinmayananda. Earlier a video went viral in which the girl is seen accusing Chinmayananda of ruining her and other girls' lives. Earlier, a sadhvi living in the ashram of Chinmayananda had also made such allegations. Chinmayananda denied the girl's allegation and said that it was a conspiracy to defame the Yogi Adityanath government.
