Milton's words, "the mind in itself can make a heaven out of hell and a hell out of heaven", stand true in the case of a 34-year-old state-level boxer from Hyderabad who was forced to turn to a life of crime. Identified as 34-year-old Kona Narsing Rao, the professional boxer was arrested on charges of theft and robbery by city police earlier this month.

Rao was arrested by the Central Taskforce team for his alleged role in as many as six offenses in Rachakonda and Hyderabad Commissionerates. An official said that gold ornaments weighing close to 16.5 tolas were recovered from Rao along with a motorcycle. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), P Radhakrishnan Rao said that the accused athlete has been accused of committing 10 offenses just in the last seven months.

A similar incident came to light from Mumbai where the former vice president of a private firm was arrested on charges of robbery.
