Srilankan government is facing enormous pressure from past many months as the nation is suffering from stiff financial crisis. Protestors claim that the nations owns to such situation due to the absurd policies and the corrupt ecosystem of the Rajapaksa clan.
As per the latest development, Srilankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has left his residence whereas the protestors on the other side surrounded his residence. News agency AFP reported about the incident.
Army looking for Petrol Pump stations
Conditions in the Srilankan economy have become so worse that Government had deployed Police, Army and Airforce to look after the Petrol Pumps. As a result of this, the nation is witnessing an absolute ferocity and commoners can be seen fighting with the force. Other institutions like School, Colleges, Hospitals are shut down obviously owing to the present state.
Protestors reached at Galle
A group of Protestors even went to the Galle Stadium where the Australian team is having series with the Srilanka. It is interesting to note here that veteran Srilankan Cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya too is among those who reached the stadium to protest.
