SP Leader Shot Dead in Maharajganj

On Monday, four unidentified bike riders shot dead Jitendra Yadav, a history-sheeter son of Samajwadi Party leader and district panchayat member, in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. A person has also been injured in this firing, whose condition remains critical.

A colleague of the SP leader has also been shot, whose condition is critical and has been admitted to the district hospital. Both the deceased and the injured are named Jitendra Yadav and both were friends.

The family members of the deceased have alleged that a few days ago there was a fatal attack on the deceased Jitendra Yadav, but the police did not give him any protection. Family members complain that this firing took place at the instigation of the local BJP MLA, in which Jeetendra was killed.

About 2 months ago, on October 7, Jitendra Yadav was shot by miscreants 3 times, but SP leader Jitendra survived that incident. In that incident, the police arrested the accused and even sent them to jail, but the relatives say that the police did not help even after several times pleading for protection from the police, and now the SP leader was killed .

Babita Yadav, wife of SP leader Jitendra Yadav, protested by blocking the road by accusing the police of not providing security and instigating the culprits. The police had to struggle a lot to convince them. Somehow, the jam was opened in some way. The police is giving the reason behind this murder to the old rivalry of the village. After the murder in broad daylight, the police has started investigating.

Unknown miscreants who had already ambushed Mahuva Charahe of Purandarpur police station area of Maharajganj, escaped from there by firing several bullets at the son of SP leader and Zilla Panchayat member. In this incident, while the SP leader died on the way to the hospital, the SP leader's partner, whose name is also Jitendra Yadav, got injured due to the bullet, which is being treated in the district hospital.

Superintendent of Police Rohit Singh Sajwan said in the murder case that a case has been registered against the deceased's wife Tahrir and the police is investigating the murder in broad daylight and the miscreants will be arrested as soon as possible. The SP said that this murder has occurred due to old enmity and the police will soon expose the incident.
