Two teenage Hindu sisters in Pakistan were allegedly raped by two men in the Punjab province, reported to the police on Thursday. Sisters (aged 16 and 17) a resident of Bahawalnagar on June 5 went to a nearby field to attend the nature’s call. Two men at the time allegedly held them at gunpoint and then raped them. Police official Irshad Yaqoob while discussing the matter told to PTI.

The alleged are being identified as Umair Ashfaq and Kashif Ali. Adding further to their statement, the official said that the medical test of the two girls confirmed they were being raped, and the accused, fled from the scene once they were done with their lust.

Reported the case three days later
Police under the influence of some local leaders of the area registered the case after a three-day delay as the so-called leaders were keen to settle the issue with the victims' family amicably.

One suspected rapist Kashif reportedly belongs to an influential family of the area. Yaqoob further said that police had lodged an FIR against the suspects on the basis of a complaint filed by the father of the girls. Also one of the accused Umair has been arrested while the other ensured a pre-arrest bail from the court regarding the same.
