2 cases of new variant of corona were also found in Singapore

Two people infected with the new variant Omicron of Corona have also been confirmed in Singapore. Both have received the full dose of the vaccine. The first case is of a 44-year-old man who had come to Singapore from Mozambique via Johannesburg. The second case is of a 41-year-old woman from South Africa. According to the Health Department, both have mild symptoms of cough and sore throat. Both reached Singapore on 1 December. After this he was quarantined.

Pakistan imposes travel ban on 15 countries

In view of the increasing cases of Omicron, Pakistan has imposed travel ban on 15 countries. These include Croatia, Hungary, Netherlands, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Vietnam, Poland, South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
