PM Nepal's Twitter profile has been replaced with the BLUR account after being hacked.
BLUR is a marketplace for non-fungible tokens designed for traders, and the hackers used the account to promote the adoption of digital currency.
On the Twitter account, a tweet was pinned from the account of @PM_Nepal regarding NFTs, which talked about 'giving digital currency to digital payers'.
The account has 690.1K followers. However, the officials of the Prime Minister's Office of Nepal restored the account after hard work.
In this matter, no statement of any kind has come from the Nepal PM.
Last month, the Twitter account of Trinamool Congress was also hacked, with the hackers changing the party's display picture and renaming the account as Yugs Labs.
The account was eventually restored after many hours of hard work, but the party did not issue any statement on the incident.
On December 10 last year, the official Twitter account of YSR Congress was also hacked.
