The mother of the teenager from the plant site police station area went to the market on Tuesday afternoon to get vegetables. Meanwhile, a young man living in Malgodam zone entered the teenager's house and tried to rape her. The teenager started protesting and the neighbors gathered. Meanwhile, the youth escaped from there after getting an opportunity. On returning from the market, when the mother came to know about this, she went to the warehouse to find the accused.
On seeing the accused young man here, caught him and started beating. Simultaneously picking up a big stone crushed the face of the accused. After the young man was lying unconscious there, some people rushed him to Rourkela Government Hospital where his condition has been referred to Burla Medical. After this case reached the police station, police registered a case and started investigating the incident.
