Bike rider died due to hit by the tractor trolley on the road turning of the Arrow City from PR-7 ring road. The incident occurred Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm. The driver fled from there after leaving the tractor trolley filled with bricks. Police have started searching for the tractor trolley driver while keeping the body in the mortuary of Derabassi. The deceased was identified as Sandeep Kumar of Barwala.

Investigation Officer ASI Ajit Singh said that Sandeep was going on a bike from Dera Bassi to Mohali for cash delivery. When he began on the Arrow City Road from Mac Donald Road, the tractor trolley driver hit the bike rider on the turn. The deceased was working in the private finance bank of Derabassi. The police have been recovered nearly 1 lakh 98 thousand rupees from the deceased, which has been taken by the bank officials. After the police post mortem, the body will be handed over to his family.

Where this road accident took place, there are large pits on the road up to half a kilometer in that area. At which point the tractor driver slipped to avoid the pit and Sandeep came in the grip of the trolley, the depth of the pit was about six inches. The town council is not paying any attention to this. Due to which road accidents happen in the daytime.

If the traffic police cut the challan of the vehicles coming from the wrong side, then they may avoid a major accident. There is always a road accident happened near T. Point near McDee Burger King because people come from the wrong side on this route. At the same time, the police have completely failed to stop these accidents.
