Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) Vivekananda Sinha informed that the Naxalite Madav Mueya was killed in a police encounter. Police recovered the body of 30-year-old accused Maoist's from Kirandul area. He was killed in an encounter with the Chhattisgarh police.
IG Sinha told that the reward of Rs 8 lakh was placed on the head of the killed Maoist. The police had received a secret notice that the Naxalite is present in the area.
