A 29-year-elderly person who was having an extramarital illicit relationship with a lady jumped to death from the fifth floor in Delhi Tigri territory on Tuesday evening. The man had come to meet the lady at her home yet her better half all of a sudden went ahead of the scene and got them in an awkward position, following which the man jumped from the building.

The man has been recognized as Pankaj, a resident of JJ colony Pandav Nagar in central Delhi. As indicated by Vijay Kumar, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), South region, a police control room (PCR) call was gotten in regards to the incident around 5.25 pm on Tuesday.

"A police group was sent to the spot. On reaching spot it was discovered that the harmed Pankaj was taken to Batra emergency clinic where he was pronounced brought dead," said the DCP.

"Primer inquiry uncovered that Pankaj was having additional conjugal relations with the lady and had come to meet her in the absence of her better half. At 4.30 pm her husband came and when he opened the entryway as it was not dashed from inside, he saw both of them in an awkward position. Chafed over her disloyalty, he slapped his better half after which she endeavored to cut vein of her left hand," said the DCP.

"The both men ceased her doing as such and spouse of the lady went out and shut the entryway from outside and told his better half that he is calling her dad and sibling to enlighten them concerning her evil deeds. She was beseeching to open the entryway while the spouse was perched on the stairs," said the DCP.

"Meanwhile, Pankaj went in the gallery and bounced from the fifth floor. The crime team and FSL emergency were quickly called who examined the spot and scene of the crime were remade," said the DCP.

"The exhibits were taken into police ownership from the spot on the headings of FSL team. The post-mortem has been done and the body has been given to father of the perished Pankaj. Examination procedures have been done and further inquiry is proceeding to uncover reality," said the DCP.
