The court here on Tuesday granted life detainment to a coach for sodomizing more than 25 minor students over a time of six years.
Ramiz Raja was indicted under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act by the POCSO court-3.
Officer Rajesh Kumar granted life detainment to the educator under the POCSO demonstration.
"Raja sodomized the students who used to go to his home for tuition classes. He made video clippings of the crime and had been approaching the students to bring cash for him," the guidance of one of the people in question, Aslam Khan, said.
He circulated a few clippings via web-based networking media and guardians of one of the exploited people saw it, following which an FIR was held up in February 2017.
Other than Raja, a private school owner, Sarwar Alam was likewise reserved for the situation however he was cleared by the court.
