The trial in the ongoing sexual harassment case against former Journalist Tarun Tejpal has started on Monday. This hearing is being held in Mapusa court of Goa. This hearing will last for 3 days. During the Three-day hearing, Tarun Tejpal's lawyer will question the victim. According to the information received, there will also be a recording of three days of debate.
Tarun was arrested by the police on November 30, 2013, after he was accused of sexual harrasement by a female colleague. He was out on bail in 2014. After this, charges were framed against him in the year 2018. Earlier, the hearing of the Tarun Tejpal case could not be held. Actually, the victim did not reach during this hearing. The hearing was to be held on October 7, but after this the Mapusa court of Goa fixed the date of hearing on October 21.
Tarun Tejpal has filed an FIR in the Supreme Court in his defense, but there was no relief for him.
