The accused used to book the cab first and then loot them. These miscreants have acknowledged the execution of more than two dozen cases of cab robbery in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The police are interrogating them and gathering information. The police are also trying to find out how many people are in this gang. These accused have been identified as Deepak, Badal, and Aslam. Police have arrested these three looters on the basis of information of the informant. According to the police, a taxi looted from these crooks, Taxi Tata Indigo, Rs 2,000 cash, 6 mobile phones, one tablet, and illegal weapons have been recovered.
The leader of this Gang came out of jail just a few days ago. He had made this gang and members of this gang were executing the work of cab loot. The miscreants told to the police during the interrogation that they used to book the old, uber cab, online through the Internet and used to recuperate in the cab and then traveled to the abandoned place. After this, they robbed the cab by assaulting the driver.
They said that these miscreants have accepted the robbery of a cab from Bisrakh, Surajpur and Greater Noida area.
