France has created a new health strategy to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases among the country's youth. This unique facility of the government has been implemented from the first day of the new year.

This was announced by President Macron's government in December. According to the report of CNN, earlier under this rule, there was talk of providing facilities to the youth of 18 to 25 years, but now minors have also been included in it.

French government spokesman Olivier Veran said that all women will get contraceptives for free.

Contraceptive drugs will be available without prescription

With this, women can take contraceptive medicines without a doctor's prescription. Women have also started taking advantage of this service.

This step has been taken at a time when health officials have estimated that STDs i.e. sexually transmitted diseases have increased by 30 per cent in France between 2020 and 2021.
