Violent demonstrations took place in several states in December last year against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). There was violence in Lucknow also, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, and one person was killed in it. The UP Police has filed a case against many people and issued a degree to compensate the loss of public property from the accused itself. The Lucknow administration and police recorded the names, photographs and addresses of 53 accused in the hoarding city. Former IPS officer S.R. Darapuri, social worker and actress Sadaf Zafar are the names of many respected people. Darapuri said that by doing so, the government has put our lives in danger.

Among those opposing CAA, SR Darapuri is also being named prominently. He has welcomed the Allahabad High Court to take self cognizance of the hoarding case. Darapuri said that placing hoardings in the city is a violation of our right to privacy, respect and freedom of citizens. He said, 'I welcome the action taken by the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court. The way the state government is behaving and putting up our hoardings, the judiciary taking cognizance of this is a welcome step.

He further said, 'Our photograph has been taken in case. I do not know where the pictures were taken. This is illegal and they put it on hoardings. This is a violation of our privacy and it threatens our life and our freedom. I hold the state responsible for this.

Today (Monday) Allahabad High Court will give its verdict in the hoarding case. On Sunday, the High Court Chief Justice Govind Mathur held a hearing. Senior advocate KK Rai said that the Chief Justice had made strict remarks in this case. He had said, 'By putting a picture of someone like this you are hurting privacy, respect and freedom and it is illegal. Before the Advocate General comes, it is better that the government do the work to improve it.

According to sources attached to the Chief Minister's Office, these hoardings have been installed there after the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath. Information was provided from the sources of the Chief Minister's Office that these hoardings have been installed there under all the rules keeping the public interest in mind. No law has been violated regarding the installation of hoardings. In these hoardings, SR Darapuri and Sadaf Zafar, names, photographs and addresses of several respected people of the city including lawyer Mohammad Shoaib, theater artist Deepak Kabir are recorded. All the people are out on bail. In the CAA violence case, the accused have also received a notice of confiscation of property from the government for non-payment. On receiving the notice, he says that he will fight the court against the government in the case of confiscation of property. Sadaf Zafar told about the hoarding case, 'I am not running.
