Ghosh was murdered by armed miscreants outside his house in his village Rajgram. However, the people involved in this murder case are yet to be identified. The BJP has accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of the state of this massacre.

Mithun died on the spot

According to media reports, this incident of murder of BJP worker Mithun Ghosh was carried out around 11 pm on Sunday. At that time Mithun Ghosh was standing outside his house in Rajgram village. At the same time, the miscreants who came on two motorcycles targeted and shot them from very close range. He died on the spot due to a bullet in the stomach. He was admitted to the hospital soon after the attack, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Mithun Ghosh was the secretary of the party's youth wing

On the other hand, after this massacre, once again the political agitation has increased. BJP's Uttar Dinajpur district president Basudeb Sarkar told the media that Mithun Ghosh was the secretary of the party's youth wing in the district. His house was in Rajgram village of Itahar assembly. He had been threatened many times over the phone in the past as well. We had already complained about this to the police, but no action was taken on it.

District President Basudeb Sarkar said that we got the news of Mithun Ghosh's death at around 11:30 in the night. Someone called him and when he came out of the house, he was shot dead. After this, he was taken to the hospital, but he had already died before that. He alleged that we are absolutely sure that TMC goons have carried out this incident. We have faith in the law and will register a case in this matter and wait for action from the police. We want justice in this matter.
