Once again, the case of the murder of a Dalit person has emerged in Gujarat. The Dalit Sarpanch's husband, who was passing through Ranpur-Barwala road, beaten by six persons. This case is of Wednesday. 51-year-old Manjibhai Solanki beaten by people so badly that he was badly injured, after which Manjibhai gave information to someone by a phone call to this but afterward he gave up.

Manjibhai said on the phone that his motorcycle was hit by a car after that 5-6 people came and beat him up. People hit him with sticks. Manjibhai is the husband of Geeta Solanki, Sarpanch of Jaliya village in Ranpur taluka.

When Solanki was taken to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, the doctors declared him dead. A video of this incident on social media is also got viral, in which Manjibhai Solanki is lying in a critical condition on the road. And their relatives are trying to take them to the hospital.

In the same video, he himself is saying, "When he was on a motorcycle, a car hit him. Later, 5-6 people beat him with sticks.

Last year Manjibhai Solanki and his wife demanded protection from the police. In which he said that some people of the Kathi Darbar community (OBC) can harm them.

In June 2018, he wrote a letter to the State's Law and Order DGP on this issue. In which he claimed that his family is in danger, this is the reason why they need police protection. However, he had written that he got police protection for two months but was later stripped.
