Afghanistan’s crusade has gone from awful to more regrettable in the World Cup 2019 as five defeats and accuses games inside the group is negatively affecting the players. The group is mulling in the last spot in the focuses table and get no opportunity of meeting all requirements for the semi-finals.
Afghanistan’s next test is against India, which has been the group to beat in the competition so far alongside New Zealand. India will be the top picks indeed when they take the field in Southampton on Saturday.
Taking on an imposing side like India will be a tough undertaking for the Afghans and they will look get their A-game against Kohli and Co. on Saturday. Leg-spinner Rashid Khan asked his partners to not rehash similar missteps that they have made in this competition so far against India.

“We had come in with a lot of preparation and a plan. We tried a lot, we should have won against Sri Lanka and we had also targeted that game. But we were unlucky, we didn’t play responsibly.
“As a batting unit we had the capacity to pursue the objective yet there are in every case awful days. We gained from that game. We have taken in a great deal from different diversions, despite everything we have 4 matches left so we trust we won’t commit similar errors.
“We have played against India in the Asia Cup, it will be an intense game. With the sort of batting and bowling they have, they are one of the top groups in the competition. Be that as it may, we will make an effort not to rehash similar errors. Our fundamental center will be to handle well. We will attempt to play decidedly. Whatever ability we have we will attempt to feature it on the ground against India,” Rashid Khan.
Afghanistan has quite recently not been unfit to reproduce the enchantment they did in the World Cup Qualifiers and Asia Cup a year ago, and have confronted five thrashings in the same number of diversions up until this point. They have been less than impressed with both bat and ball and the messy hands-on work has likewise not helped their motivation.
Handling is one zone where they are buckling down and Rashid said they should be getting it done in the match against India, who he named as the group which can win the World Cup.
“There is no uncertainty India can’t win the world cup. The blend they have, the bowling lineup and the defenders they have. In this World Cup, the groups which are handling great are winning matches. India has what it takes in the handling. They have preferable batsmen over bowlers, a standout amongst the best teams here. They can win there is no uncertainty,” Rashid Khan said
