At four o'clock on Thursday evening, lady doctor Seema Gupta, along with her mother-in-law Sulekha, reached her home to bully Deepa Gurjar, the girlfriend of her husband Sudeep Gupta. There was a ruckus between the two women that suddenly turn into anger, the doctor's wife then sets fire in her house and locked the door from outside the house.
Meanwhile, the fire became so terrible that no one could muster the courage to enter the house. Deepa's brother Anuj (21), who reached the spot, tried to enter the house, but due to the high flames, he also got scorched. Eventually, 25-year-old Deepa Gurjar and his six-year-old son died due to suffocation.
After receiving the information about the fire, Firefighters arrived on the spot and the fire was extinguished after half an hour of effort. Dr. Sudeep Gupta, SP Hyder Ali Zaidi and CO City Hawa Singh Raipuria reached the spot. Till late in the night, no case was registered by the aggrieved party. Police have detained Dr. Sudeep, his wife Dr. Seema and mother Sulekha in this incident.
