The Bombay High Court will hear on October 26 the bail plea of ​​Aryan Khan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan, arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs from Cruise in Mumbai. During the last hearing, Aryan's lawyer Satish Manshinde presented the petition before a single bench of Judge Justice NW Sambre and requested an urgent hearing. At the same time, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, appearing for Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), had sought one week's time. Judge Justice NW Sambre then fixed October 26 for hearing.

The court will also hear the bail plea of ​​fashion model Munmun Dhamecha arrested in the case today. A special court in Mumbai had refused bail to Aryan on Wednesday (October 19).

Rejected the bail applications of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha

The court had said that even though WhatsApp chat it appeared that he was in contact with drug smugglers. The court had also rejected the bail applications of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.

On October 3, the NCB had arrested these three, including several others, in connection with the seizure of narcotics from a cruise boat going to Goa off the Mumbai coast. All three are currently in judicial custody. Aryan Khan and Merchant are lodged in Arthur Road Jail, while Munmun is lodged in the Byculla Women's Jail in the city.

Ananya was also called for questioning

They are accused of possessing, using and smuggling narcotics under the NDPS Act. So far, 20 people have been arrested in the case. Aryan's bail plea is listed at number 57 and Arbaaz Merchant's bail plea is at number 64.

NCB will oppose the bail of all the accused in the case including Aryan Khan. According to the report, his lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, "We told the court that the matter should be heard through video conferencing, but the judge refused."

According to the NCB, during the raid, they seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 tablets of MDMA (Ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash. However, no medicine was found from Aryan. NCB has so far arrested 20 people in this case. Meanwhile, NCB had called Ananya Pandey twice last week for questioning on the basis of WhatsApp chat found on Aryan's mobile phone.
