It was said by WhatsApp that when you give us permission, we use only the phone number from your address book to make the message fast and reliable, and we do not share your contact list with other Facebook apps.
According to WhatsApp, we use group membership to send messages and protect our service from spam and misuse. We do not share this data with Facebook for ads. Private chats are encrypted end-to-end and we cannot see their content.
