Twitter Vice President (Design and Research) Dentli Davis has said that Twitter is considering that in the year 2020, it will make many changes. Twitter is thinking to stop the option of retweeting the tweet and ban options like mentoring it in a tweet without user consent.
If Twitter turns off options like Retweet, then users can stop any of their tweets from going viral. Its control will be completely with the user.
It is believed that Twitter is also thinking about taking such decisions because this social media platform is becoming a platform for political manipulation in many ways. Recently, Twitter said that it is shutting down political advertisements on its platform.
