Temperature of Churu Reaches Minus 1.1 degrees in Rajasthan

Meteorologists said that the maximum temperature is likely to be around 18 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear skies and cold winds in the national capital. The temperature is continuously falling. And the cold wind is blowing fast.
The Metrological Department said Saturday was the first "cold day" of the season in Delhi and the city recorded a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius due to northwesterly winds. The maximum temperature was recorded at 17.8 degrees Celsius, five notches below normal, and the lowest temperature of the season. The department said that when the minimum temperature is less than or equal to 10 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is recorded at least 4.5 degrees Celsius below the normal, it is said to be a "cold day".
The effect of snowfall on the mountains is visible in the plains. Due to the winds coming from the mountains, the whole of North India is in the grip of cold waves. Chills have increased in West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, and the country's capital Delhi. Snowfall and winds have been blowing in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and Uttarakhand for the past several days.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at less than five degrees Celsius on Saturday. At the same time, today (Sunday) on December 19, a 6-degree temperature was measured in Delhi. However, the mercury dropped to 4.4 degrees in the Safdarjung area at 7 am, which is the lowest day temperature of the season so far. There will be an outbreak of cold waves in Delhi for the next three days. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. In the next three days, the minimum temperature of Delhi is likely to be less than 5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to be 18-19 degrees Celsius.
Snow-like sight in the plains of Himachal, Kashmir, Uttarakhand was seen in many cities of Rajasthan on Saturday. In Churu, Mount Abu, Fatehpur, Jobner of Jaipur, the mercury went down to minus. The mercury has dropped to minus 2.6 degrees Celsius in Churu. On Saturday night, the temperature was minus 1.1 in Churu, minus 3 in Mount Abu, and minus 2, degrees Celsius in Jobner. Last night was the coldest night of this season in the state. In Churu and Mount Abu, a layer of snow has been seen in the plains. Apart from this, the temperature in Hanumangarh, Nagaur, Sikar, Bhilwara has been recorded between 0 to 1 degree Celsius.

Due to heavy snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the minimum temperature in seven cities has reached minus in the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted cold and heavy weather in the lower districts of Bilaspur, Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, and Solan till December 20. At the same time, cold icy winds are expected in Shimla, Lahaul, and Spiti. According to the Meteorological Department, people are not going to get relief from snowfall and cold in the state. The IMD said snow and icy winds would continue for three days in the state. However, Saturday was a bit of a relief in Shimla and Manali. Tourists enjoy snowfall in Shimla.
At the same time, snowfall continues in Kullu-Manali, Lahaul-Spiti. NH is closed due to snowfall in most parts of the valley including Rohtang Pass, Kunzum Pass, Sisu, Kokhsar, Tandi, Darcha in Lahaul. Due to this, there are long queues of vehicles on the roads. The roads have been closed due to heavy snowfall on the roads. And the movement of people has also been stopped, due to this, there are chances of many incidents.
