In this study, more than 1100 women of 45 to 69 years were added. Of this 15 % of the women said that they have faced depression. Most of these women were of middle age. This study has been published in 'Journal of North American Menopause Society'.

Depression increases the risk of heart disease and also affects life quality. Therefore, scientists began to find reasons for the depression, which could be prevented by improving it. Study of physical activity and depression is seen in the study. It is seen that if the upper part of the body is weak, such as weak hold of the hands, increase the risk of depression.
