Waqar Younis Reveals Why Pakistan has never Won against India in ODIs World Cup

In the ODI World Cup, Pakistan has never won against India. Both two teams have faced each other 7 times during the World cup, but each time the Pakistan team has to face it. For the first time in 1992, both the teams played against each other in the One Day World Cup and the series of Pakistan's defeat started from here. Now, former fast bowler of Pakistan cricket team Waqar Younis has told the reason why Pakistan gets defeated by India every time in World Cup match.

India defeated Pakistan in every World Cup:

Waqar Younis said that he was not part of the Pakistan team due to injury in the 1992 World Cup, which he regretted. However, that year Pakistan won the World Cup despite a loss to India. At the same time, in the next World Cup, 1996, Pakistan lost to India in the quarter-finals. At the same time in 1999, Waqar was not the part of the team and India won. He was then the captain of the Pakistan team in 2003, but Pakistan lost that time too. This trend continued again in the 2011, 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups.

When it comes to ODI World Cup, India has always been on top: Waqar

Waqar said that we have done well in ODIs and Tests against India, but when it comes to One-Day World Cup, India has always been on top and they were really capable of it. They played well with us during every match. Referring to the matches of the World Cup, he said that in 2003, be it South Africa or Bangalore. The Indian team was very good and they played positive. They played well even though the match was in our hands yet everyone lost. At the same time, whether the 2011 World Cup or 1996, the match was still in our hands, but why did we lose the match. It is difficult to tell why we do not withstand the pressure of the World Cup.
