In today's time in India, Aadhar card has become both the identity and need of the common man. From your bank account to PAN card, it comes in handy everywhere. If you also want to make your Aadhar card then you have to follow this process. To apply for a new Aadhar card, you have to first visit your nearest Aadhar Enrollment Center.

First of all, you can go to the official website of UIDAI and find the enrollment center near your home and select it. From here you can take an online appointment of the Aadhar Seva Kendra near you. After which you can go here and enroll for a new Aadhar card. Also, if you have to update any kind of new information in your Aadhar card, then you can do that by visiting these Aadhar Seva Kendra Parv.

Before applying for Aadhaar, an applicant should keep in mind that he/she should have all the documents required for it. Before going to the center, you should take all these documents with you. By visiting the enrollment centre, you will have to fill up an Aadhaar application form, and submit your biometric information along with the documents required for identity proof and address proof.

Here is the step by step process to apply for Aadhar card

  • First of all, find an Aadhaar Facilitation Center near you. You can get this information by visiting the Aadhaar website https://uidai.gov.in/.
  • After this you submit the form by visiting these Aadhaar Facilitation Center along with supporting documents like your identity proof and residence proof.
  • Once all the documents have been accepted, you must submit your biometric data, including fingerprints and iris identification.
  • From here you will get a receipt on which 14 digit enrollment number will be written. You can use this to know the status of your Aadhar card.
