The Indian National Youth Congress protested in Delhi on Wednesday against the removal of the SPG security of the Gandhi family. The protesters allege that the central government is playing with the safety of the Gandhi family. Explain that the Union Home Ministry has withdrawn the SPG security given to the interim presidents of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi.

The matter of removal of SPG security from Gandhi family was also raised in Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Congress Parliamentary Party leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury criticized the central government by raising the matter. At the same time, the Congress has also raised this issue in Rajya Sabha.

The central government had earlier this month provided 'Z Plus' security of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Vadra in place of SPG. Whereas former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been given 'Z Plus' protection of CRPF in place of SPG. Explain that the SPG security government of Manmohan Singh couple withdrew in August.

On Tuesday, the Congress created a ruckus in the Lok Sabha on the decision of the central government to remove the SPG security of the Gandhi family. During the entire Question Hour, Congress MPs shouted slogans near the Speaker's seat. Later their leader, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, also tried to raise it in zero hours. However, the Speaker dismissed it on the ground that he had not given notice in advance for the same. The Congress later accused the government of ignoring the threat of discrimination and security of the Gandhi family and walked out of the Lok Sabha.

Along with Congress, DMK MPs also raised the issue of reducing the security of Gandhi family. When Congress MPs were shouting slogans near the Speaker's seat, some DMK MPs were also supporting him. Throughout the sloganeering, senior DMK leader TR Balu stood up and supported him. When the Chairman did not give Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary time to speak, Balu repeatedly demanded time for himself. Balu said that there is no small threat to the Gandhi family. His family members have been murdered before
