Some time ago, the beta version of this feature was introduced for Android users. After this feature, WhatsApp's background will be black and text will be seen on it in white color.

It has just been introduced for select users so that users can use it, so that bugs in the feature can be fixed before the global rollout. Right now this feature is only available for Android users but the company will soon introduce it for iOS as well.

WABetaInfo had informed through a report recently that WhatsApp is developing a dark theme for its iOS users and is currently unstable. It was also reported that some improvements are being made to the dark theme. Only then will it be introduced for iOS. According to the report that came out recently, some users had given information on social media and said that dark mode feature has started appearing in WhatsApp. According to the information, whenever users share a photo from their camera roll on WhatsApp, they see the dark mode feature.
