The river overflows at Chilla barrage in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

Due to the rain since Wednesday morning, the Bin river located on the Chila Barrage motorway came in spate. Due to which many vehicles got stuck in the water level of the river on this route. The police administration rescued and pulled out the vehicles trapped in the river. It is worth noting that many villagers move on mountain routes through the Bin river.

During the rainy season, due to the rise in the water level of the river Bin, it becomes difficult for the villagers as well as tourists to move. In order to avoid inconvenience to the people, many times the villagers have asked the government administration to build a bridge over the Bin river, but the construction of the bridge is still in cold storage.
