The Country is Identified By Our Constitution and Culture: Kamal Nath

The four-km-long Constitution Bachao Nyaya Yatra was taken out on Wednesday on the call of Congress in Bhopal against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and NRC. Addressing it, Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the way citizenship law has been brought, the rights and future of common citizens are in danger. It will be opposed till the last breath.

The Congress' Nyay Yatra began at the Roshanpura intersection in Bhopal and concluded with a wreath at the Gandhi statue at Minto Hall. The stage was erected at the Roshanpura intersection, at which many communist leaders were present along with Congress leaders along with various religious leaders. Kamal Nath said in his address that the country is identified by our Constitution and culture. It keeps countries and religions connected. The attack on the Constitution today is not only on the Constitution, but on every citizen.

Without naming the BJP and its leaders, Kamal Nath said that they say something outside Parliament and outside. They are doing politics of misleading. They will fight till the last breath against the law they have brought. We want to hand over the future to a country that our ancestors and constitution makers had entrusted to us.

After the completion of the Nyay Yatra, Chief Minister Kamal Nath again said that no such law will be implemented in Madhya Pradesh which will be anti-constitution, society, religion or public. The Congress is concerned not with what is written in the citizenship law and NRC, but by what is not written. The government's goal is its concern. It is not a concern about its use, but a worry of misuse.
