People's Union for Civil Liberties says

Cases are still registering

Cases are still registering continuously in the country under Section 66A, repealed by the police. PUCL filed a petition against this in the Supreme Court. PUCL has said in the petition that despite the Supreme Court having repealed Section 66A of the IT Act in 2015, many people have been arrested in the country under it. It has been said in the petition that even after the Shreya Singhal case, Section 66A of the IT Act is being used.
