Students of 10-12 Class Will Not Have to Pay Examination Fee

The ruling Aam Aadmi party government in Delhi has given a big gift to the students of 10th and 12th Central Board of Secondary Education. Lakhs of students of 10th-12th will not have to pay the examination fee for the examination to be held next year. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia announced this on Wednesday. According to the Deputy Chief Minister, this relief has been extended to the students of government schools as well as students of recognized schools. These include all categories of students.

Significantly, on the increase in the examination fee by CBSE, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that he has instructed the Education Department to work under a formula so that the burden of fees on students is minimized. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that he has asked the Directorate of Education (DoE) to prepare a proposal through which the burden of fees on students of 10th and 12th can be minimized. In view of this, the Delhi government has decided to pay the examination fee itself, giving relief to lakhs of parents.

It is worth noting that the Central Board of Secondary Education has recently increased the fees for board examinations of class 10 and class 12. CBSE has raised fees for five subjects from Rs 50 to Rs 1,200 for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students. In such a situation, it is being said that CBSE has increased the fees 24 times.

In fact, the case is that CBSE used to charge Rs 350 for students belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes in Delhi. 300 rupees were paid by Delhi government and the remaining 50 rupees were given by the students. CBSE stated in the notification that the matter is an internal matter of the Delhi government. At the same time, the fees of all students in the entire country were Rs 750, which has been increased to Rs 1500. In this case, the fee has been doubled.

However, the matter which was about to increase 24 times the fee, it applies only to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes students of Delhi. Now their fees have been increased by 24 times. At the same time, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has expressed displeasure over this fee. He has said that if things continue like this, the government will consider its board.
