Roopa Ganguly Said Mamata Banerjee has to Pay a Heavy Price for Misuse of Police Force

Roopa Ganguly, who was made the leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and actress in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, claimed that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would have to pay a heavy price for misuse of a police force.

Referring to the unprecedented action taken by Kolkata Police personnel on Sunday, Ms. Ganguly said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials had gone to their residence to inquire into the Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and they were abducting their duties. In this series of tweets, another BJP leader from West Bengal and Union Minister Babul Supriyo has demanded to impose President's rule in the state.

He took a dig at all the opposition parties to support Mamata Banerjee against the CBI and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government. He tweeted a TV screenshot of all the prominent opposition leaders, including Congress president Rahul Gandhi, saying, "Deewar par seese lage hai inme Brhast kon Hai"
